Our favorite Fall Activities in Seattle – Blueberry picking, sunflower fields, and pumpkin patches (OH MY!). Over the last 6 years, Zack and I have worked on building a list of fun OUTDOOR things to do that we both enjoy. Z is a self-proclaimed mountain man who loves to hike and camp, and would prefer […]

Dresses from Summer to Fall: Sunflower fields signal the departure of Summer and the arrival of the beloved Autumn season. As soon as September hit, I grabbed my new favorite dress and we headed up North to run through the beautiful rows of sunflowers. I have to say, this dress, and these fields, made for […]
Sponsored by Skyfall Vineyard – content for 21+ Fall is the most beautiful time of the year in Seattle. The colors, the air, the smells – it is just all too perfect. Normally, Fall in Seattle can be pretty short-lived, and the rainy season can start to creep in around the end of October. Fortunately […]
Washington is officially a Fall wonderland and I am loving it! I can’t get enough of the changing leaves, the crisp air, and ALL the pumpkin things. Since we are in the middle of this gorgeous season, I am stocking up on all of the Fall essentials this month and a comfy yet stylish pair […]
Fall is officially in full swing here in Washington. Zack and I celebrated with a drive up North to Snohomish where the wild flower fields and tree farms are straight out of a Thomas Kinkade painting. It is still pretty warm here, if the leaves weren’t changing it could almost pass as a mild Seattle summer. While I love warm weather, I’m pretty excited for the crisp Fall air and chunky sweaters. We are in that in-between phase where the mornings call for lots of layers, then the afternoons leave you peeling everything off because the temperature jumps 15 degrees!
I have been on a major pastel kick this year. Whether it be Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall, I have been incorporating these hues into all aspects of my wardrobe. Thanks to Kohl’s, I styled THREE outfits that can easily be taken from Summer to Fall! I found each of these outfits in the Junior’s Department at Kohl’s. Fun Fact about the Junior’s Department; it serves ages 18-34! Kohl’s Juniors department has an amazing selection and can help you transition into new seasons with a few statement pieces. You can receive $10 off $50 Fall and Back to School essentials 8/3-8/19 with promo code BTS10!
Fall is almost here! As the temperature starts so cool, I find myself already missing the warm weather. There is just something so satisfying about the ease of throwing on your outfit and not having to worry about grabbing a jacket for the day. However, as I walk around Seattle, and see the leaves begin to change and fall, and as I start to hear them crunch under my loafers, I can’t help but get antsy for the upcoming season. Pumpkin patches, apple picking, corn mazes, pies, chai lattes, and the chunkiest sweaters you’ve ever seen – I will miss the warm weather, but I am all too eager to wave goodbye to Summer and jump into Fall!
It is officially Fall!! To celebrate, I had to bust out an oversized cardigan. I cannot wait for all of cozy sweaters, pretty leaves, and pumpkin spiced recipes that await in the next couple months! With the first day of fall comes the first of my baking endeavors of the season! Stay tuned for some pie posts coming to the blog soon:)
When it comes to taking a Seattle Day trip, there are so many possibilities. Our favorite, however, is taking a ferry across the water to Bainbridge and driving through the surrounding areas. We love the area so much, in fact, that we got married across the water in Kingston. In the time of Covid and […]
