Fall is almost here! As the temperature starts so cool, I find myself already missing the warm weather. There is just something so satisfying about the ease of throwing on your outfit and not having to worry about grabbing a jacket for the day. However, as I walk around Seattle, and see the leaves begin to change and fall, and as I start to hear them crunch under my loafers, I can’t help but get antsy for the upcoming season. Pumpkin patches, apple picking, corn mazes, pies, chai lattes, and the chunkiest sweaters you’ve ever seen – I will miss the warm weather, but I am all too eager to wave goodbye to Summer and jump into Fall!
As beautiful as the market is, Seattle hasn’t yet grasped that winter is now OVER! I can’t wait to shop for fresh flowers during the summer. The clouds and rain can quit any day now! This look is perfect for these not-so-spring days!
For quite some time I have been keeping a list of designer dupes for some of the most popular shoe styles. I finally compiled all of my findings and linked the best alternatives I could find!
TS OCTOBER 3RD! Unfortunately this outfit doesn’t contain pink, and for that I am truly sorry;) (Mean Girls reference for those who don’t know!)
It is officially Fall!! To celebrate, I had to bust out an oversized cardigan. I cannot wait for all of cozy sweaters, pretty leaves, and pumpkin spiced recipes that await in the next couple months! With the first day of fall comes the first of my baking endeavors of the season! Stay tuned for some pie posts coming to the blog soon:)
A fun day at Gas Works Park!
These photos were taken at Gas Works Park. This is one of my favorite places in Seattle. Gas Works is an old gas plant that was added to the National Register of Historical Places and is now one of the most popular parks in Seattle.
