Save the dates made beautiful, affordable, and don’t forget EFFORTLESS thanks to Basic Invite!
The wedding planning is in full swing in the (future) Zimay household! So much goes into this process that I had never even imagined. Just when I think we are nearing the finish line of the planning process, ten more tasks pop up! While I am so excited to get married, and the planning is fun, it can certainly be stressful. Luckily, thanks to Basic Invite our save the dates were something we were able to quickly cross off the list with NO STRESS!
Basic Invite is a one-stop-shop for all of your wedding favor needs. Unique save the dates, classic wedding invitations , wedding websites, personalized wedding favors – Basic Invite can do it all! I started the process by selecting our template from the seemingly limitless options. I chose the theme “Wildflower Ampersand” for its simple yet beautiful design. From there, I chose our favorite photo from our engagement session (with the amazing Sarah Wolfe) for the front of the save the date. Once the photo was uploaded, I chose the colors. Basic Invite has almost unlimited color options, so you can choose the exact tones to compliment your photo.

Once you put the final touches on your save the dates, invites, menus, etc., you can either place the order, OR order a custom sample of the product you designed before taking the leap. You will get the exact product you designed on the paper of your choice so you can physically see what you’re ordering before ordering the real deal!
As I mentioned above, Basic Invite offers much more than save the dates and invites. Below you can see all of the options that our chosen theme “Wildflower Ampersand” offers. I’m a big fan of matching and coordinating, so these endless options and offerings for all handouts and take-aways make my heart happy! 🙂 Even better – each product offers a matching wedding website FOR FREE!

The customization doesn’t stop at the cards, you can choose to either send your save the dates as postcards or within an envelope. If you choose the envelope option, there are 40 different colors to choose from! I chose to go with the envelopes since the post cards can get dirty in the mail. The save the dates are so beautiful, I wanted to keep them as pristine as possible! The envelopes come with a peal and stick seal, so no need to lick hundreds of envelopes.
So now for my FAVORITE PART – Basic Invite also offers address collection. I uploaded our spreadsheet with the addresses of our guests, and they were able to print an invite / save the date for each address we uploaded. EASY PEASY!
I couldn’t be happier with how our save the dates turned out. The process was effortless; a welcome feeling during the whirlwind that is wedding planning! I highly recommend using Basic Invite for all of your wedding or party planning needs. The ease and beauty of the products, paired with the amazing customer service offered by the Basic Invite team keeps me coming back. Once you give them a try I know you will keep going back to them too!
