I used to be a big fan of black wardrobe pieces. My whole closet used to be primarily black sweaters, pants, and blouses. Since graduating college, I tried to expand my wardrobe into color, and quickly became obsessed with navy, tan, and oranges / yellows. No matter how many colors I introduce into my closet, my heart will always lean back to my monochromatic wardrobe.

Handmade
As Summer nears the end, I can’t help but try to hold on to my favorite pieces from the season. This bag from Etsy is handmade and so so beautiful! I use it as a beach bag and as a tote on Market days! The leather handles make this straw bag more than just a casual bag to hold you sunscreen!
Be Bold: Patterns
I feel like I am never bold enough with prints. I love classic, solid, closet staples that can be worn over and over again with all of my other closet staples. I took a leap towards some bold patterns with these pieces from Endless Knot here in Seattle, and I am in LOVE!
Statement Slip Dress
This look is perfect for a date night, or a day around town on a vacation or a hot day! (Maybe trade the heels for some flats when wearing as a day outfit:). Who says you can’t turn a slip into a dress??
