Fall is officially in full swing here in Washington. Zack and I celebrated with a drive up North to Snohomish where the wild flower fields and tree farms are straight out of a Thomas Kinkade painting. It is still pretty warm here, if the leaves weren’t changing it could almost pass as a mild Seattle summer. While I love warm weather, I’m pretty excited for the crisp Fall air and chunky sweaters. We are in that in-between phase where the mornings call for lots of layers, then the afternoons leave you peeling everything off because the temperature jumps 15 degrees!
The last week has been a whirlwind! As I announced a couple of weeks ago we found a new apartment! We are moving from a newer building to an old brick building with a lot of character. Our old apartment was a lot smaller but had a lot of great amenities. We had a gorgeous rooftop with a view of the city and the Puget Sound and a city view right from our apartment window. We will be missing these the most! Saying goodbye to our apartment of 2 years, and leaving our spectacular view was pretty tough. We loved living where we were, but ultimately we needed more space and wanted to pay a little less.
TS OCTOBER 3RD! Unfortunately this outfit doesn’t contain pink, and for that I am truly sorry;) (Mean Girls reference for those who don’t know!)
It is officially Fall!! To celebrate, I had to bust out an oversized cardigan. I cannot wait for all of cozy sweaters, pretty leaves, and pumpkin spiced recipes that await in the next couple months! With the first day of fall comes the first of my baking endeavors of the season! Stay tuned for some pie posts coming to the blog soon:)
A fun day at Gas Works Park!
These photos were taken at Gas Works Park. This is one of my favorite places in Seattle. Gas Works is an old gas plant that was added to the National Register of Historical Places and is now one of the most popular parks in Seattle.
Hey everyone! Thank you all so much for reading along as I jot down my favorite style tips, share my favorite outfits, and show you my favorite adventures and projects!
