One more sleep until Christmas! As I approach the 2 year mark of blogging, I can’t help but think about how thankful I am for the support I have received. I can’t thank y’all enough for following along with me over the last 2 years. I hope you have the best Christmas and New Years with the ones you love.
Zack and I normally head home to the Midwest for the holidays, but we decided to stay on the West coast this year and celebrate with our families near Thanksgiving. Growing up and starting our own traditions, especially as a soon-to-be married couple is really exciting! We started going to the Christmas Boats at Gas Works Park a few years ago and it is so magical!
I am an absolute nut for the Holidays – movies, music, decor, singing carols with my family – it all makes me turn to mush this time of year. Since we live in an apartment we normally don’t buy that many decorations because we will have to store them and we don’t have that much space. Normally, we have a tree with no ornaments and our stockings and occasionally we hang garland, but this year we just didn’t have time to get to it.
Zack knows how much I love Christmas and he knows I have been wanting to decorate our apartment to maximum Christmas mode. When I got home from visiting my family a couple weeks ago, I found that he had Christmas-ed every corner of the place and I busted into tears! This little surprise just turned me into a big sobbing mess and I loved every second of it. It was the best gift I could have ever received. Now.. I just need to figure out how we are going to store all of this Christmas. 😉
I have really been loving the monochrome looks lately – red on red, blue on blue, pink on pink (this combo coming soon!) so I paired my favorite red heels with my fav jumpsuit. And man oh man I love a good jumpsuit – so for the holidays and pending New Year, I wanted to round up some of the most beautiful red jumpsuits that I found for the holidays:
I hope you and all of the ones you love have the best holiday and new year. I can’t believe 2019 is just a week away – where did this year go?! I am so excited to see what happens in the next 52 weeks! 🙂 Merry Christmas y’all!
