Travel Shadow Boxes
These shadow display boxes are another fun way to document your travels and vacations. More than just marking places we have been, this allows us to further document our trips by displaying some of the things we collected on our trips, such as, train tickets, coins, post cards, and much more.
I purchased these 8″ x 8″ boxes from Michael’s.To make the city name posters, I used Adobe Illustrator to place images that I captured on our trips within the letters of the city name. You can do this with clipping masks (step by step instructions HERE). Once I printed the city names, I laid out all of the display pieces and arranged them in a way that I could see each piece and secured them with double sided tape. Once secured, place in the shadow box, secure the backing, and hang them!
