When in doubt, put a bow on it. These days, I am doing less and less with my hair. I usually give it a quick brush after a shower then just let it air dry. We aren’t going anywhere special these days (for obvious reasons) so I have adopted a very low-maintenance approach to “getting ready” for the day.

I have found a few positives have come out of my ‘hands-off’ method:
First, I am becoming very comfortable and even excited about my natural hair without heat or products. I haven’t felt this content going au-natural with my hair and make-up since before high school. YES even make-up; I rarely use it anymore. Even for the photos in this post I simply used mascara, a blush stick on my cheeks, and some lipstick, which I did in the car, haha!
Second, I have turned to local and online shops (mainly Etsy) for fun hair accessories for the days that we do decide to leave the house. In addition, on the days we are at home, I have my hair pulled back with a claw clip. So, since my clips are seeing a lot of milage, I keep buying more and more. Below, I have rounded up a bunch of hair accessories from my favorite shops!
